This course is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiorespiratory arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies, as well as for emergency response personnel. It covers a wide range of essential skills, including:
• Basic resuscitation techniques, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device and
automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Early recognition and management of cardiac and respiratory arrest
• Management of peri-arrest conditions (e.g. symptomatic bradycardia) and common ECG reading
• Airway management
• Associated pharmacology
• Management of acute coronary syndromes and complex resuscitation cases
• Effective communication within a resuscitation team
Course structure :
• Day 1: Theoretical asynchronous online learning (approx. 8 hours), to be completed before the face-to-
face course.

• Day 3 (November 14): Role-playing scenarios, with a focus on integrating knowledge in remote
intervention contexts.

SIRIUSMEDx reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants is not reached. If SIRIUSMEDx cancels a course due to insufficient participants, SIRIUSMEDx will refund the full course fee or transfer the course to another available date.
**Usual cancellation policy :
1. If you cancel a course 30+ days before it is due to start, the full course fee will be refunded.
2. If you cancel between 15 and 29 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded 50% of the fees paid.

We will transfer the program to another available date (valid for 1 year + $25 administration fee).
3. If you cancel a course 14 days or less before the course start date, there is NO refund.
Or we will transfer the program to another available date (valid for 1 year + $45 administration fee).
